This Privacy Policy describes how INTERTRADE EQUIPMENT LLC ("we") collects and uses information when you use this website.

Information you give us: when you submit a form (Contact, Equipment Request, Inspection Request, Part Request, or Shipping Quote) we collect the details you enter. These may include your name, email address, company, message, and any files or photos you attach. We give each submission a request number and store it so our team can respond.

Customer records: we keep one customer record per email address (email addresses are compared without regard to capitalization or surrounding spaces). A record may hold your contact details, the dates of your first and most recent contact, links to your requests, orders, and bills of sale, internal notes written by our staff, your consent history, and your advertising subscription status. Only authorized super-administrators can see customer records. Internal notes are never shown to you.

Consent: each request form asks for two separate choices, both unchecked by default. (a) A required consent to process the information you provide to respond to and manage your request. (b) An optional consent to receive equipment listings, special offers, and company news by email. We keep a consent record for each choice: the choice itself, the time we recorded it, the page it was given on, the exact wording you saw, and the date of this Privacy Policy in force at that time. Consent records are not edited or deleted. A later change is added as a new record.

Advertising emails: we send advertising emails only to people who asked for them and then confirmed the subscription by clicking a link in an email we sent them. You can unsubscribe at any time from the unsubscribe page or with the link in any advertising email. Unsubscribing stops future advertising emails; it does not affect emails about your own request. At the time of this draft, no advertising emails are being sent.

Request emails: we send you emails about your own request, such as a confirmation and status updates. These are not advertising.

File uploads: photos or files you attach to a request are stored privately and are used only to process your request.

Cookies and external services: see the Cookie Policy. Optional analytics and embedded videos from YouTube or Vimeo are used only after you allow them.

Payments: orders are paid on Stripe's hosted checkout page. Payment card details are entered on Stripe's page, not on this website.

Third-party links: this site links to eBay listings and other third-party sites for some equipment and parts. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites.

Retention: OWNER DECISION REQUIRED. The company has not yet set how long requests, customer records, and consent records are kept. No automatic deletion is active. You can ask us about your information or request its deletion through the General Inquiry option on the Contact page, subject to our legitimate business and legal recordkeeping needs.

Changes: we update this policy when our practices change. Each consent record stores the date of the policy in force when the consent was given.
